Increasing resilience over time is key to decreasing the impact of natural disasters. Ensuring that the village is prepared is critical to that mission. We have increased the number of trained CPR personnel in the village and are, in partnership with local leadership, working toward building an inventory of emergency response supplies to better position first responders and village leadership to quickly and effectively help and serve the community in the aftermath of a hurricane or other natural disasters.
